The Westie Double Malt isn’t just a World Whiskies Awards-winning whisky – it’s a heartfelt tribute to Angus, our much-loved West Highland Terrier, who was by our side throughout our whisky journey and will always be part of our story.
From just eight weeks old, Angus began his life among the barrels at Nant Distillery, before moving home to Launceston Distillery four years later. When the opportunity arose to create a whisky blending spirit from both distilleries, it felt only right to honour him with this special release.
The Westie Double Malt brings together the best of both worlds – a marriage of single malts from Launceston Distillery and Nant Distillery, matured in French oak tawny casks and non-chill filtered for incredible depth of character. Expect rich, tawny-influenced notes of fruit and spice, a hint of peat, and a smooth, fragrant finish.
Such a fitting tribute to Angus – his legacy lives on in every dram.
