Launceston Distillery Review by OzWhisky Review

Have you read the great new article up on @ozwhiskyreview written by @whiskyjules of @whiskyandalement fame yet? 𝘈 𝘧𝘰𝘤𝘶𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘈𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘬𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘣𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘳𝘴.
As the independent bottling market for Scotch whisky tightens and the Australian whisky industry broadens, independent bottlers are turning to Australian producers for availability and originality.
That Boutique-y Whisky Company are leading the charge here, breaking out over a dozen Australian whisky producers to an international audience with their ‘Return to Oz’ series. Local players @barrel_and_batch have been featuring Australian whisky makers that lead the market with quality driven drams in their recent Australian celebration series as well.
@launcestondistillery were featured in both these releases and going against the grain we submitted bourbon cask whiskies. While a lot of Tasmanian producers are featuring fortified casks Chris Condon (head distiller at Launceston Distillery) wanted to put forward his bourbon cask whiskies and wow did they go well. In both tastings done by @whiskyjules the @launcestondistillery releases scored the highest!
With @whiskyjules giving both whiskies 90+ points and such praise as “𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆’𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁” it is safe to assume they were very well received.
